Healthcare Sector is one of the 9 business sectors of UMG Co., Ltd. which is run under the name of Gud Care Co., Ltd. The Gud Care Healthcare Division has one significant business unit named Digital Healthcare Unit. Gud Care has been in the healthcare business for 3 years starting from 2014 with the purpose of improving Myanmar healthcare and medical services professionally through leading technology. We were being awarded by the Ministry of Health & Sport for quality medical equipment and our excellent capability which, in turn, are helping to design, construct and develop healthcare facility. In accordance with global changing trends, Gud Care is developing Digital Healthcare platform which includes “Mydoctor”, healthcare and health education platform and “Enfanto”, an e-commerce platform. Gud Care has researched and analyzed the current health related issues and healthcare conditions of Myanmar and it is found out that most of the cases are due to lack of basic health education in general public. Thereafter, our ultimate aim is to provide reliable healthcare services to the people of Myanmar and to enrich them with proper health education and knowledge. mydoctor.com.mm, one of the digital healthcare platforms, was initiated in 2016 where people can improve their basic health knowledge, understandings and communicate with medical professionals. It publishes health articles varies from a number of A to Z and vast majority of medications ranging from indigenous medicine, western medicine, and aesthetic medicine to newly found drugs and remedies. It consists of over 250 general healthcare articles and disease – specific articles, over 76 first-aid and emergency tips, many nutrition and lifestyle tips and articles, over 100 health facts, over 500 drugs information, beauty and skin care tips and over 40 healthcare videos. Recent development of forums in Mydoctor platform comprises Autism Forum, Psychology Forum and Dental Forum where everyone can discuss any medical topic or any experience or beliefs they have and discuss as a community involving qualified and devoted doctors from our very own My Doctor Team. We are strongly encouraged and supported by General Practitioners Society (Myanmar), Myanmar Autism Association, Myanmar Medical Journal by MMA, Emergency Ambulance Service Foundation (MMA), PTC (Post Traumatic Care) Program by Myanmar Medical Association. It is purely a CSR activity of Gud Care Co., Ltd. Mydoctor.com is also planning to launch medical consultation service where users can have live conversation with professional doctors 24 hours a day. This service will be accessed by a mobile payment gateway “WinKyat” and every conversation and discussion made with doctors will cost with a rate based on minutes. My doctor is available in different platforms including webpage, application, Facebook group and Facebook page. Moreover, “Enfanto” is an e-commerce operated by Gud Care, selling quality and reliable maternal and baby care products online. It will be expanded into the area of nutritional products and pharmaceuticals too. “Enfanto” is engaged with many quality product suppliers including branded products. UMG logistic business, the point to point delivery service by Beexprss is available as well to assist the online e-commerce operation. Enfanto is set up and cooperated by the ICT division and it is aimed to officially publish in August 2017 and customers can view via the link “mydoctor.com.mm/shop/”. As a part of our CSR activities, Gud Care doctors partnered with Victoria Hospital in operating healthcare services without charges in rural areas and country sides of Myanmar. In conclusion, UMG healthcare sector will always and only be a hand far away from public to help and assist them with healthcare services and to bridge Myanmar to a healthier society.
